That is a neat poem from Bukowski. first I’ve heard of him, but not the Friends bookstores. I spend more times in those no matter which library than I do in the library.
Sounds of wood peckers, wonderful. We have Downey and Pileated in our neighborhood.
The sound of choirs. Seems they sound best in the lofts of the old cathedrals and Catholic churches. Somehow other churches seem to get it wrong and want the choirs to be a show on a stage and build the churches as such.
Anyone for Australian rules football? The Korean basketball sounds interesting.
