Prince Valiant! I am a reporter for the Sunday Times newspaper in South Africa. I grew up with PV, every Sunday, in the same paper. When I joined the paper in ’87 and again in 2004, PV was still going. Any time management tried to cull PV from our funnies section, readers would revolt. Sadly, being sold to a private equity form was a battle even Prince Valiant could not win. Sad day.
