Some decades ago my Smith-Corona Galaxy Deluxe (Elite) lost it’s life in a domestic dispute. I loaned it to a friend and she broke it, I think by hurling it down a staircase at her ex.

I really appreciated your tale, and the witty, graceful way you have with word and phrase. Reading it, I felt lucky I never had a violent woman in my life. I don’t believe you wrote and typed the whole darn thing in 10 minutes, though! At that rate, you’d have a novel in 3 weeks.
