Lots of great submissions today.
Tom: I remember driving up Pikes Peak in the summer of 1992 with a colleague on the margins of attending a professional conference in Colorado Springs.
At one point going up, it was cloudy and started snowing. It was maybe 35F max at the top. We saw nothing of the beautiful view you described! Glad you enjoyed your trip.
Kent: that’s a brilliant accomplishment! Congrats for your win of 18 years ago! I cannot imagine how difficult this must be unless you are in great physical and mental health.
Mike: this long washer is usually used where there is a short throw sliding mechanism. Like a bi-chrome selector or something similar. There might also be a couple screws or pins missing somewhere on a machine where this was help in place. Unless this was sleeping at the bottom of a machine or case for a long time and does not belong to any of your machines?
Thanks Daniel. I’ll see if I can get my eye up in there and see if something is amiss.
