Hi, Catalina. Thanks for your comments on ‘A Hank of Hair in the Hallway’. You get it.
I read a line of yours this morning that resonated with me: “my sister would leave mid-sentence, slamming a door in silent pleasure”. The way you combined the noise of a slammed door with the silence of the pleasure obtained by the act of slamming it was superbly done. And in very tiny print, too! (Line quoted is from ‘Epilogue’ in ‘Cultural Pleasure’, Catalina Cariaga, Subpress Collective, 1999. Mine is the 2004 second edition.)

Tori,
I’m a fan of HST and I like the quote. I had forgotten who said it. Thanks for reminding me.
