Catalina: There’s an inspired typo in your charming letter to your sister: “thinkness”. This could mean the amount of thought that goes into the ink, or, conversely, the amount of ink that goes into the thought…
Linda: In an unusual follow-up, the Supreme Court today released a joint statement from Justices Sotomayor and Gorsuch that read, in part:
“Reporting that Justice Sotomayor asked Justice Gorsuch to wear a mask surprised us. It is false. While we may sometimes disagree about the law, we are warm colleagues and friends.”
Robert and Linda, I think the SCOTUS is a lot less political than either the pundits on the left or right would like us to think. WG, yes, “thinkness” would be a good title for a 5-minute poem by Leo Madigow to write. Of course I meant thickness of ink. But I had ink on my mind.
