KDA: Welcome to OTP! Completely agree that typing is a style of writing uniquely different from digital keyboarding or writing in longhand. Something about thought being firmly but gently influenced by the linear nature of output. One of many ways to get thoughts down, but I’ve become more attached to it after rediscovering it later in life.
College is the Golden Age… keep at it.

Kent, that is a brand spanking new typewriter compared to the Underwoods that were in my grandfather’s attic when I was a kid. Pop (as we called him) used them in his office in NY City during the 1920s and 1930s. So glad you and Christine had a good trip to see the kids and the grandkids!
