John Baird’s page mentioned the translator Rosemary Edmonds, who was an old family friend – so I’ve posted a page about this kind lady for tomorrow.

Hi Mike in Virginia. Thanks again for doing the pages in September. I tried to gmail you at mcdur1@gmail.com but it came back with a ‘failure notice’. Could you do me a favour and NOT post the page I sent called “La Senora”? Thanks

No problem! I removed that page from the queue. As for the address, that’s the problem with typewriters. The l and the 1 use the same key. It should read “mcdurl”

Thanks, Mike!

Tom, thank you for sharing memories of your twin brother who you lost far too soon. I can’t imagine how nice it would be to have a twin. Were you identical? Please share pictures if you want to. Do you still live in Virginia? Mike does and I’m in DC. Keep sharing

Linda, thank you for your kind comments. Tim and I were fraternal although we did look very much alike when we were young. I’ve been telling myself there’s a gift in this, our life that’s left. One of the ways I’ve dealt with my grief was working on a documentary film about the last ten years of his life. I’ll post the link Sep. 13 (our birthday). As to your question, I no longer live in Virginia. I moved away at the age of 18, never to return. I’ve been in California for the past 25 years.
