Not sure what’s going on… there seem to be an awful lot of my pages missing in the last couple of weeks….

I see one that came in this morning after I published today’s pages. That will appear in tomorrow’s post. If there are others let me know the dates and I’ll see if I’ve missed them. The only one that didn’t appear on purpose was the unattributed photo of the “soul boat.” Thank you for correcting that photo.

Mike, the one I sent this AM is indeed for tomorrow. The one missing was sent yesterday, for today’s page. I know it went… starts out: “…and deerskin.” Must be a glitch. I’ll re-send later today. ciao

Alex, that’s one nice-looking Hermes. A bit of irony connected with this machine is that the Beat Generation writer William S. Burroughs preferred this typewriter, although his grandfather was the founder of the Burroughs Corporation, which manufactured the Burroughs Typewriter.

I can see how he preferred it. It has a certain inspiring look and feel to it, only sometimes beat by my Underwood Standard.

Tomchat, that is cool! I actually own a 1930s Bouroughs typewriter that is electric & wide carriage.
