I just looked up that model on The Typewriter Database. It has a close up of the SN but I can’t tell what part of the machine it is. If yours does not have a mark in the same place that’s more evidence you have a SN-less Holiday. https://typewriterdatabase.com/19xx-remington-holiday.9104.typewriter

LaDonna: Yes, I saw that picture -someone should’ve told him he wasn’t making an art movie; another source suggested, seeing the photo, that it might be near the bell mechanism, but I couldn’t see anything. Thanks, anyway. The main thing is it works like a dream despite being filthy inside. I can’t imagine what the poor thing has been through all these years.
